Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award

Over two days, 25 pupils set off on their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award expedition. Navigating their way around Epping Forest using paper maps (no electronics!) and carrying all their equipment, they made their way to Fairmead Scout Camp. As the sun was shining, pupils were lucky not to get stuck in any mud or rain throughout their journey.

After all their hard work , pupils were able to set up camp and relax for the evening, before setting off again the next morning.

The next day pupils started to make their way back to Frederick Bremer, again in wonderful sunshine.

Once each group had returned, they knew that they were one step closer to achieving their Bronze Award.
