Ms Gibson– Acting Head of Creative Arts
On the 23rd of March we took 20 of our AMAZING Year 9 students to see ‘The Lion King’ at the Lyceum Theatre. Since the pandemic, many theatres had to close and had a horrific effect on the Creative Arts industry, it was a fantastic opportunity to allow students to finally step back into London theatres and give them a chance to watch some live theatre. Many of these students have shown a keen interest in Drama, whether it be acting or lighting/costume/set design and were really impressed with this famous musical. The pupils represented the school amazingly and it was an absolute delight to take them on this well deserved trip!
