Year 10 Trip to the Waltham Forest COP26 Climate Summit

In order to mark the COP26 Climate Summit, four students from Year 10 attend the Waltham Forest COP26 Climate Summit.

These pupils listened to speakers from the local council as well as climate activists. They participated in activities that tried to find solutions to climate change issues in Waltham Forest. The key areas that were focused upon were heating in homes, transportation, and green spaces. The students, along with other students in the Borough, discussed ways to promote positive climate action. As a result of this, an Eco-Schools Committee was formed back at Bremer.
