Autism Awareness Week

This week we are celebrating Autism Awareness Week at Bremer. All year groups will be watching an assembly about Autism and how Autistic students may experience school differently to others, encouraging students to discuss ways they may be able to support and understand their peers. The assembly highlights lots of wonderful things about Autism, and the fact that Autism should be celebrated.

Students from the AND have been selling Autism Awareness ribbons during afternoon registration, and all TAs are wearing giant puzzle pieces this week to stimulate positive discussion around the school. We have also created a fantastic new display board in the AND, dedicated to celebrating Autism.
