On Monday 8th of July, we had our Sports Day at Frederick Bremer School.
Our Year 7 –10 pupils arrived at the Feel Good Centre feeling energised and ready for a competitive yet fun day.
The Year groups started rolling in taking their place on the grounds and once settled we were ready to kick-start our sports day.
There was no slow start to say the least! Our Year 7 and 8s competitors put their best foot forward on the track contending in races from 100 metres, 400 metres and even 800 metres!
Whilst the Year 7 & 8 were on the tracks for the first half of the day, Year 9 and 10 were out on the field competing in the sports such as long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin and discus.
Even though the sun was blazing, the tuck shop goodies kept everyone going throughout the day.
To finish the joyous day everyone took part in the three-legged race, sack race and of course how can we forget the egg and spoon race?! Not to mention the teachers Vs students relay.
Well done to all who won and of course everyone who took part!
